The YouThink Project, conceived by IPL (youthink.al) and financed by the EU, aims to support civil society, particularly young people, in enhancing their role in Albania’s accession to the European Union. This is achieved by increasing their capacities, knowledge, and understanding of the accession process; providing support for the negotiation process and its structures; and fostering policy dialogue between civil society organizations (CSOs) and the Albanian public administration, especially with the institutions involved in the upcoming negotiations.

The expected outcomes are:

  1. Enhanced Engagement:

    • Increase in awareness, understanding, and participation of young people in the EU accession process, in the relevant areas for negotiating the EU acquis.

    • Improvement in communication and visibility among them through dynamic digital exchange platforms.

  2. Strategic Partnerships:

    • Establishment of partnerships with CSOs, particularly youth groups, to include them in the long-term plan on EU integration issues and the negotiation process.

Meanwhile, the main results of the Action are:

1.1. Strengthening Civic Participation:
Enhancing civic engagement and the capabilities of young people regarding EU integration issues and the negotiation processes.

1.2. Increasing Awareness and Visibility:
Improving the information available, as well as the awareness and visibility of young people on EU integration and negotiation issues specifically related to the EU.

1.3. Fostering Sustainable Engagement:
Creating partnerships with CSOs, especially youth groups, to ensure their sustainable involvement in EU integration matters.
